[10:31:55] <slug_> what's the best part/circuit for stepping up V+ on the dock pins to 5V without AC power? Would it be more appropriate to add a sort of powerpack instead... plug it in to the AC port?

[10:38:58] <ReggieUK> boost convertor means you can use any random voltage down to a single AA

[10:39:41] <slug_> all the hardware must be there already, right. I just need to trick the board into thinking it's plugged in

[10:40:45] <ReggieUK> not sure if you can do it via the dock itself

[10:54:25] <slug_> yeah it wouldn't make sense to stream anything larger, but there's no restriction, it can be scaled

[23:53:52] <ReggieUK> I just coded long exposure control into it
[23:53:57] <ReggieUK> it's a bit wooly
