[16:03:44] <strec> Hey guys, let me ask you a question. I have the latest Debian running on the Z2. Is there any way, how to put the device to stand-by mode?
[16:04:08] <ssieb> pm-suspend
[16:04:18] <ssieb> also, you probably want #zipit-dev
[16:06:16] <Marex> ssieb: gg :)
[16:06:31] <strec> thx, guys
[16:07:07] <strec> or rather ssieb
[16:07:09] <strec> :-)
[16:14:31] *** Mallium has joined #zipit
[16:21:50] <strec> ssieb: is there any guide, how to make it work? When I execute pm-suspend, it just ends normally and that't it.
[16:27:17] <m4t> mozzwald, thanks for packaging up that new uboot, will likely try it this afternoon

[19:20:01] <LokiChaos> hmm, I've been away a while... what is considered the "best" distro at the moment for the Z2? I mostly want something lightweight and with good HW support (esp wireless and pwr mgmt)
[19:42:40] <dTal> LokiChaos: uboot is becoming more popular
[19:42:48] <dTal> it's the only thing anyone's really working on
[19:43:01] <dTal> z2buntu is a popular userland for that
[19:43:24] <dTal> but you can keep your existing userland too if you prep it according to mozzwald's instructions
[19:43:50] *** azend has joined #zipit
[19:44:22] <dTal> HW support and power management are kernel features, not userland ones - uboot will allow you to run the latest mainline
[19:45:22] <LokiChaos> anyone have a link for uboot? I might try out the z2buntu, I can load my own dwm in /usr/local/bin and I have most eveything else stashed in ~/
[19:46:51] <LokiChaos> ah, I found it
[19:46:54] <LokiChaos> nvm
[19:47:23] <dTal> LokiChaos: #zipit-dev
[19:47:41] <dTal> mozzwald packaged a newer one today
[19:47:50] <dTal> Google probably hasn't picked it up yet
