[01:05:08] <ogmious09> Well the Nanonote is for sale only 100 bucks. Looks at that interface on the same specs as the zipit

[06:20:24] <dTal> Anyone know what boot script is responsible for setting the keymap in rootnexus?
[06:21:50] <dTal> I rebooted my zipit, and the changes I'd made to /etc/keymap didn't seem to work. Running loadkeys -s /etc/keymap made it all work again, so no big deal, but I'd like to investigate.
[06:22:22] <dTal> I'm sure it's something simple.
[06:26:24] <dTal> I'm getting the impression the whole debian rc script system is kind of overkill for the Zipit.

[06:52:03] <dTal> Here's a thought: define the lidswitch to be a key.
[06:52:31] <dTal> Then assign it as a modifier with all the other keys to produce void output.
[06:53:20] <dTal> Except for the volume keys, which you could assign it as a modifier to do different things depending on whether the lid were open or closed
[06:53:58] <dTal> (for example, screen brightness when open, volume when closed)

[07:31:33] <dTal> and if so, how does it work?

[09:32:39] <s-hell> jep

[09:34:10] <dTal> The release notes say "proper" now, but I don't know what that means.
[09:36:49] <s-hell> for me it didn't worked.
[09:37:15] <s-hell> the display didn't turned off
