General (#3) - using rootnexus, how to get gcc? (#41) - Message List

I am new to this stuff, but got rootnexus's image working on zipit2, But I tried many attempts to get gcc.. someone said, i would have to use a version of linux without X, for gui.. but the issue is, some of the apps i'm trying to compile use graphics. Perhaps i have to wait till someone gives us a better image than rootnexus.. but his is by far the easiest.
