I used the 1gig image from aliosa27
It's kinda cool, but a little frustrating so far, lol. The average smartphone puts it to shame out of the box, but I am hopeful I can get it where I want it to be.

I like iceWM because it gets the windows sized right when you launch an application I haven't dug into it too much more than that, used gnome on the desktop, so still figuring it out. Left the zipit across town the other day and just got it back today so I get to play more.
Is there a javascript capable browser availible?

yes i watch the forums every now and again. your best bet for support though is to hit the irc channel (#zipit). Although I will be watching the forums a bit more from now on

Because any helps appreciated.
Thank you

your best bet for help would be to come into the irc channel (#zipit) but I would guess that as long as it's in the debian repositories you'll need to at minimum do some tweaking to the config files for it. you might need to recompile it too depending on how it is configured to do stuff with screen size..... but forst of all hit the irc and see if anyone already have it working

all I did was apt-get install icewm
then I did startx, and picked icewm from the "window managers" menu in fluxbox
that should kill the fluxbox session and start an ice session
after that, a simple script with
z2mouse-option & startx
starts it up fine
you want to make a .icewm directory in your home dir and put
TaskBarAutoHide? = 1
in a file called "preferences"
(note that the board wiki software is putting the question mark, there, there is no question mark after the variables in the file)
after that, I'm spent, lol
my biggest hurdle at the moment is getting a functional set of keymaps, once I get into ice, I lose my numbers, pipes, and other neat stuff, none of the ones I've found online seem to work right, or I'm putting them in the wrong place or something, I just don't know

ok you probably need to install LokiChoas?'s keymap http://aliosa27.net/projects/zipit2/mark2/keymap-final -- download that and put it in /opt and rename to keymap.map iirc.
i believe this is the matching layout or at least very close to it http://imagebin.ca/view/xN6coF.html
there might be slight differences. this keymap only works in X not at the console but the console keys also match pretty closely except for the top set of buttons.
